BREAKING NEWS – Buffalo, New York – During a rally at the First Niagara Center, Donald Trump was marked by an unfortunate slip of the tongue, as the real estate mogul mistakenly mentioned the name of a popular convenience store chain in place of 9/11. “It’s very close to my heart because I was down there, and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action,” Trump told the crowd. DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz immediately commented on Trump’s “ignorance of history”. She was then asked what about in 2008 when President Obama said there were 59 states in America, and Joe Biden wrongly stated FDR went on tv to address the nation regarding the 1929 stock crash even though tv didn’t debut nationally until 1939 and FDR wasn’t president until 1933? Wasserman-Schultz responded by saying, “those were understandable mistakes due to the fact that they didn’t have access to information back then, because the internet was not invented until the summer of 2010.”
