While promoting her book “What Happened” in New Zealand, she castigated President Trump for having run a “reality TV” campaign. “CBS started this reality show nonsense with ‘Survivor’,” she angrily stated. “Which is about contestants competing for a prize on a tropical island. That in turn gave rise to Donald Trump’s show.” Congresswoman Maxine Waters agreed with Clinton’s assessment, and then immediately called for a nationwide boycott of all islands, including Rhode Island, Long Island, Rikers Island, and Gilligan’s Island.
