Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., would release a decade of his personal finance records, Sanders said he would, “sooner than later.” But later during the town hall, he appeared to have changed his mind. “On the other hand, I might not release a decade of my tax returns, is because it might prompt a jealousy reaction from less successful socialists. I believe that hard working socialists like me who worked for every penny we have, has earned the right to tell other rich people who aren’t socialists, how they should redistribute their wealth, without applying those exact same standards to ourselves. And I will not release my tax returns until I am sure that my lazy unmotivated empty-headed supporters understands this.'”
