Due to the fact that presidential candidate Eric Swalwell attacked Biden on his age, Sanders felt compelled to defend the former Vice President as well as himself. “We’re not too old to run this country,” the Vermont Senator explained at a recent rally. “We may not agree politically, but I think both of our minds are still as sharp as a tack as we approach 80. And if elected, I think either one of us can efficiently run the United States of Alaska.”
