BREAKING NEWS – Albany, New York – Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D., is having a rough week. After he resigned amid a sexual harassment scandal, he was stripped of his 2020 International Emmy Award the next day

“The International Academy announced that in light of the New York Attorney General’s report, and Andrew Cuomo’s subsequent resignation as Governor, it is rescinding his special 2020 International Emmy® Award.

Cuomo tweeted about the rejection. “They can keep their Emmy, because I felt I should’ve been given an Oscar for my multiple performances alleging I was innocent of sexual harassment,” he explained. “The only saving grace is they used the word ‘stripped’, and that’s what they should’ve done around me if they wanted to get promoted.”
