BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team is under fire for ‘brass-knuckle’ tactics in bid to squeeze Paul Manafort. The intensity of the focus on Manafort is widely seen as a potential effort by Mueller to pressure him into providing information on others, possibly President Trump himself, in the Russia probe. Some of the questionable tactics include picking the lock on Manafort’s front door for a surprise raid over the summer while the former Trump campaign chairman was in bed. Mueller stormed out of a press conference after stating when he was bombarded with questions after he said, “As Special Counsel, I am not accountable to the FBI or President Trump. The only person I answer to with my daily briefings, is Hillary Clinton.”
