BREAKING NEWS – CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was caught galivanting around New York without a protective mask in the latest setback for the “Cuomo Prime Time” namesake when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the New York Post.
“Spies spotted the CNN anchor hanging at a downtown private members club, hobnobbing without a mask and acting like he was the mayor of the joint,” Post reporter Carlos Greer wrote.
Cuomo, the younger brother of Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, regularly condemns President Trump and members of his administration for their handling of the ongoing pandemic and not wearing masks.
Chris Cuomo responded to the Post’s criticism in a tweet. “First of all, I am seriously thinking about getting a restraining order against nosy reporters, who go out of their way to expose my blatant hypocrisy,” the CNN host began. “And secondly, I am constantly looking at people’s foreheads to see if they are sweating, to determine that they have a temperature. If it appears that they do, I keep my distance. My cohort Don Lemon is even more aggressive with monitoring the temperature of people near him, that’s whey he always keeps with him a pocket full of rectal thermometers.”
